When does production start? I hear that GM could use a new design...

Here is another little goody - just an abstract shape that I built from a subdivide sphere. UVmapped in Silo; rendered in Strata.

Looks like you crossed a see horse with a shell... but something went wrong I like the material. The material is great. The Form is cool only the torus in the middle distracts the form a bit.

Cheers "ko'gen".

Thanks ko'gen!
The torus is only to cover where the two identical shapes meet.
I had trouble getting them to bridge cleanly.

I may look at it again and see if I can get the two pieces to meet up right.

An update on my toy horse and rider.
I've UV-mapped the model and applied my first textures:

Thanks for that link Roger!
That's an EXCELLENT animated flick.
I only WISH I could achieve that level of creative brilliance.

I've started working on a scene for this model.
Dug up a couple older models to add to it.
(phone will be UV mapped next):

Some Phone-y Phun

Some fun images, created from a screenshot (out of Silo), GL Flat and Toon Renders (out of StrataCX).

Some random projects you got there, but I think it shows diversity. Good work, Dasch!

Thanks guys!
I really like the UV mapping process. It truly brings models to life.
After years of messing around with cubic, decal and cylindrical mapping it's super to be able to actually wrap a model in one map set.

Eel-mobile is a great idea! I know nothing about energy (ask my boss ) . Maybe just for the need of the cigarette lighter? What about a version for motorbikes?

Abstract shaper are delicious, precious things.

Emotional nostalgic tribute to our childhoods. Thanks.

Thanks Eric!
I'm STILL a child at heart. (My wife says immature)

Here is a little character I came up with for a 'Year of the Ox' image I'm building just for fun.

An update on Spox the Über Ox:
I've added some mouth details and revised his hips a bit (which looked too feminine). Also had to add a honkin' big belt buckle to add to the Superhero look.
