bob's assorted stuff

Hi,

Just started this thread to fill it with some stuff whenever I have something ready to show that does not belong in another thread.

Beginning with a silly toad figure. I got a similar one as a present from a colleague.

Just a relaxed sculpting doodle.

cheers,
Matthias

Nice work, IMHO it's always a pleasure to see your work, especially since it's usually anime themed, that frog is simple yet cool, like how you used the pinch brush on the legs and all the other details, keep it up man

Lol. I brought some of them from China to Germany two years ago just to see that you can get them here as well as everywhere

Cool model.

Nice, what did you render with?

As far as I know, these frogs originate from Thailand. The reason for the jagged back is that you draw a wooden pin over the edges causing the hollow body to resonate, creating a sound similar to frogs.

Thanks guys!

Actually they are these chirping wooden toads. Seeing as it is just a doodle I was too lazy to model the sound openings.

@Wirebird: It was rendered with CINEMA 4D.

cheers,
Matthias

A cute mouse Matthias.
Does he need a little bulb of a nose, though?

Hi,

After long time I got an itch in my fingers again to sculpt something. Something like a crossover of a vampire and Lord Voldemort.

cheers,
Matthias

nice, I like the hard creasing. The cheek bones seem a little too round to me though. I'd have expected them to take a concave shape not convex.

The Stone effect works nicely with the style aswell. Very solid feeling
