Thanks gang! Hellboy II: The Golden Army really changed the way I looked at classic themes, so I had to do a version of the tooth fairy from the film. If you haven't seen the movie it's really neat - a bit campy towards the end - but great for us artist types.

![]() ![]() Something I did for work. It was fun. Modeled in Silo. Rigged and rendered in Poser. Last edited by Teyon; 11-12-2008 at 02:09 AM. |

Thanks! The reason that sculpt reminds you of Hellboy 2's Tooth Fairies is that it's based on the original design for them before they were changed to be...cuter.
This was started in Silo and taken to ZBrush for detailing. ![]() |

You have some great stuff here Teyon. Would you mind sharing a wire of Lightning Man. I am really interested in his face's mesh.
cheers, Matthias

Yeah, I normally make my meshes light but I let my co-workers talk me into making a denser mesh for the release so that folks could morph him into other stuff. The original Lightning Man model from 2006 was much lighter in the face but was lost to me in a HD crash. :/ Hopefully the density won't be a problem. The next model I'm working on for work is less dense than this toon character and I doubt I'll be bending to the whim of the staff on it.
thanks again, everyone for the kindness! |

Yeah I'm a Teyon-thread-lover too.
I really like the last sculpts. The grean guy is very cool, especially theese yellow teeth that come out. It's a lovely conrast. For the last sculpt I would change the pointed teeth a bit... making them more asymmetrical and maybe pushing the tip of 'em more to the center of the head could help breaking the artificial look. Regards "ko'gen".

Thanks gang. Yeah Ko'gen, excellent advice! Will do. I have to do two weeks worth of morphs in the next two days to fix a weld issue with a vertex, so the time I thought I'd spend working on the Chimera went up in smoke. However, I did spend about an hour or so in Silo Thanksgiving to do a Silo-only sculpt.
Hope you guys like it, I'm a bit out of practice with my Silo-centric sculpting. ![]() |
