Race of races
Hi guys
I finished this one some time ago but wasn't allowed to post it until the contest ended. The subject of the contest was "we humans". And so I tried to make a pic, that showed the superiority of the modern man to the neandertal which apparently is the reason the world isn't crowded by troglodytes anymore. Of course modeling was done in silo2. Render in c4d and the post in AfterEffects. hope you like it cheerio Daniel |

Thanks guys
@ Vader Describing the postwork would be pretty impossible, because I'm always starting with it in the early stages of the project. Si it is a quite chaotic process where I'm somehow acceping the flaws of the render output for I'm afraid of changing too much because Icould loose the "style" I've achieved by now. And so I'm doing colour correction over colour correction adding new objects masking things out to change them separately. I wondering if everyone is relying that much on postwork as I do. And I definitely have to learn rendering a bit more "finalish" I've to admit, this wasn' that rich on infos. You may have some more specific questions... have to leave now, see you later |

Hey Daniel:
Could you show us a wireframe of the 'chipped' stone surfboard? I'm real curious as to how you created that. Thanks man. Dasch |

Thanks guys :-)
@ Dasch The chipped stone surfboard is made of a cube so there is no special topology. I just used a Voronoi noise as a displacement map. |
