I'm sure I saw some comments on this thread - but they've disappeared.
Well, they were all along the lines of "Brilliant", "Astounding" etc. I agree. Very nice work. |

Nice work! I really like how the armour is well articulated, nothing worse than a suit of armour that looks cool but cannot bend without breaking in on itself or ripping the wearers arms out of their sockets.
I also really like the surface detail on the "X" breastplate, looks futuristic but grounded in reality at the same time. I hope that you keep playing with different areas of the armour adding different surface details like you did in the chest to give him more variety. |

it looks very good. looks like a person could really fit in the armour. nice modeling and the concept looks functional and clean.
although it looks too much like bulgarov's marine. other than that it looks really good ![]() http://www.bulgarov.com/page_marine.html |

Holy smokes! This is brilliant work - very inspiring! I'm working on a series of soldiers for a project - and this just blows them away!
Is this all in Silo or is it off a base model?

This is amazing! It's really a piece of art. I really would like to know what was your workflow. Did you do first male model and built from there or... This should go to front page

I concur, nice work, especially like the boots, even though it does resemble the bulgarov marine, then again most of these designs looks like it was directly inspired by Starcraft, GOW2 (etc.) so whatever lol, sometime it's hard to design something truly original, most of the time it has all been done before, is that a little depth of field i'm seeing, the scorpion on the shoulder armour is pretty cool, overall great job man, keep it up

USE YOUR CREATIVITY!!!
Just an advice:
You used as reference the work of a famous modeler Vitaly Bulgarov , (not very good for a portfolio ) .Thousands of CGSociety subscriber received an email with Vitaly's work!!! http://www.bulgarov.com/page_marine.html YOUR MODELING SKILL IS EXCELLENT --I think you could use your creativity and add a lot more value to your work. Specially because people will compare your work with Vitaly's "Marine"... |

Really inspiring and amazing work! Thanks for posting the wires!
Did you do any displacement painting in Silo or was it all in Zbrush?
