anime sculpt
Hi,
I started sculpting an anime head. Later I want to make the body too. Still need to make the eye lashes and some more sculpting around the eyes. ![]() ![]() cheers, Matthias

That's pretty cool, like a doll head if not anime.

Yeah, it's got a very doll head vibe & too much detail is what sets it apart... even for 80's anime.
Solid work though!

Yeah it's not 'pure' anime style, just some stuff inspired by anime.
cheers, Matthias

Hi,
Just finished the retopo of the head. I found Silo's surface snapping working very well. ![]() ![]() cheers, Matthias

Thank you dasch, I always try to find a good mix of smooth surfaces and sharp edges.
Here a new update, I started with the armour. I am building it around a simple proxy body which helps me with proportions. The armour's surface looks currently a bit bumpy but this should be fixed once I am finished with the retopo. ![]() cheers, Matthias

Nice work as usual bobtronic, especially like the anime inspired head, very cool, how much time did you spend on the retopo?

I sculpted the legs. They will be retopologized too. I quite like this workflow, first sculpting then retopologizing.
