some basemeshes from my diploma movie
Hi to all SILO users.
Last month I finished my diploma movie ( a short 3d animation) where I did all base meshes with SILO 2. Most was done via boxmodelling. Tarons DVD about "Secret of organic modelling" was very helpfull for my project. Some final renderings are visible on my website: www.giottosvision.com Feedback welcome ![]() gretings from Lucerne, Switzerland giotto |

The last image is cool. I'd like to see that in an Unreal Tournament map/level. Little fog, stone texture, low grav--with the right lighting, could be fun.

Pretty slick fluness
Maybe the camera is a bit freaky. You should try zooming it or use a fisheye lens even?? :p What renderer u use? Nice one.

Haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I could post this
animation I did for a job for over one year ago. This is not the final render, and the tail movement of the kangaroo is really not finished ![]() It was fun to try solve the juggling motion, it's pretty advanced, well for me atleast ![]() Modeling Silo and animation/rendering Xsi. http://jaxxat.com/gallery/jonglerar.mov |

Tupu - the kangaroo looks VERY good!
I like the animation too. The swinging of the tail seems to work fine - any more and it would distract from the other action. Here is what I worked on in Silo 2 today. A simple monster character. The texture is just a real rough quick paint job to get a feel for the style of the character. He is rigged and rendered in StrataCX. ![]() |
