Description:

      The Move In Screen Plane command is not listed in the program menus but can be assigned to keyboard shortcuts, image buttons, or mouse buttons via their respective customization dialogs.  This command allows you to move your selection in the plane of the screen.  if it's assigned to an image button, you can click on the button, drag, and release to perform the move operation.  With the command assigned to a keyboard shortcut, you can press the key, drag your mouse to move the selection, and then release to complete the operation.  If the function is assigned to a mouse button, you can simply press the mouse button, drag, and release to perform the operation.


Notes:

- This command allows you to always have access to a move operation even when the rotate or scale manipulator is active.
